The Paris 2024 Olympic Games Organizing Committee initially selected this building as its headquarters. Today, it serves as the offices of the Seine-Saint-Denis Departmental Council. Located in the Front Populaire district, at the heart of Plaine Saint-Denis and facing the new Line 12 metro, this new office complex, designed by Olivier Fassio and Jean-Brice Viaud for Icade Tertial, organizes 30,000 m² of office space around a remarkable atrium measuring 30 meters in height and 1,370 m² in area. The atrium, the centerpiece of the project — poised between a central square and a glass cathedral — channels circulation while inviting both serenity and creativity. It hosts a diversity of activities and services: reception, concierge, coworking spaces, temporary exhibitions, and carefully placed dining areas that also open out to the city. This continuous spectacle is animated by the movement of the sun, with zenithal light streaming through the glass roof.
